Improvers’ Seminar aimed at Senior And Senior reserve players:

Topic: The focus will be on 'Make Every Chance Count: Practical Declarer Play - planning the play and maximising chances in declarer play'.

Club Security:

The front/main Club room doors will now be locked as soon as bridge sessions commence. This is required for compliance with our Health and Safety Policy, since we recently had unwelcome intruders coming into our Club rooms during play.

Smokers are advised to use the single doors, facing the car park, and it would be appreciated if you would restrict smoking in the area by these doors, and use the ash tray attached to the fence.  Also please respect the wishes of nonsmokers and avoid smoking outside the front door.

Upcoming Tournaments: 

CHCH All Grades: Saturday 17th October, starting at 10am.

NZ Wide Pairs: Friday 16th at 7.20pm. This is a fundraiser for the NZ Bridge Foundation.

Entries for the above tournaments can be made through NZ Bridge website, under tournaments.

Trophies:

Please bring back any club trophies won last year so they can be engraved for this year.

2027 Programme Book:

Please advise the office if you have any changes to your membership details eg, no land line, change of address.

Wednesday Night Teams – Play with a Senior,

Looking for senior players where 3 juniors or intermediates partner up with a senior player for 3 weeks.

• No table fee for the seniors.
