Weekly Update 1/4-June-2021

Update re the Club entry gates:

Water has got into the electrics for the gates. The Main entry gate can be opened and closed manually. The pedestrian gate can be pushed open. The other gate will remain closed as we can’t get it to unlock. The parts had been ordered and hopefully will be fixed later this week. Please take care when entering and leaving the carpark.

Julian Cup & Senior/Junior Teams:

These are Club member only tournaments which will be held over the weekend 19/20 June.

The Julian Cup is sponsored by Westende Jewellers where a Senior/Senior Reserve player partners an Intermediate or Junior player.
The following day will be the teams event where a Senior/Senior Reserve pair teams up with an Intermediate or Junior pair. Seniors play Seniors and Juniors play Juniors.

Information and entry lists can be found on the foyer noticeboard.

Wednesday Seminar

Queens Birthday (Monday 7th June) - afternoon and evening bridge sessions are open to all.

Starting Time Survey for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions:

In response to requests from some members for a possible change in starting times we will be conducting a survey over the next 2 weeks.

Please vote for your session/s only. Survey forms will be given out at the sessions. Spare forms will be available if you are absent in week one.

Bank Cheques:

Due to the banks not processing cheques anymore, they will not be accepted any longer at the club. Payments can be made by Direct Credit, Eftpos or Cash.
