Junior / Intermediate Seminar: This Sunday!

Sunday 21st August: Tutor: Shirley Newton

Topic: ‘‘Defence – You are usually defending half of the hands so which card should you play as 2nd and 3rd player. How do you interpret your partner’s lead’.

Cost: $15

Starts at 10pm.

Bring your lunch and play in the afternoon session.

Memorial: Peter John Oakley

Peter Oakley was a long term member of our club. He died two years ago during the start of COVID-19. His daughters are finally able to get back to New Zealand to hold a Memorial Service for him. They have asked the Bridge Club to post the following notice for any of his friends who would like to join them at the service.

"Memorial: Peter John Oakley

Peter's daughters, Gabby, Mary Ann and Abby, invite you to join them at his Memorial Service on Saturday 24 September 4pm at The Chateau on the Park, Deans Avenue, Christchurch."
