National Rubber Bridge Tournament: Congratulations to Tony Quinlivan & Stuart Grant for winning the National Rubber Bridge tournament. They are still Intermediate players and represented Canterbury in that grade in the recent Inter Provincial Championships. They have knocked out several Open pairs on their way to the title and are living proof that this event is not just the territory of strong Open players. You need some reasonably good hands, a reasonable share of good fortune and some basic understanding of the rules and tactics of Rubber Bridge…. and the trophy and the decent slab of prize-money could be yours.

Holiday Bridge: Holiday Bridge times are displayed on the Home Page - Open to all. For the sessions of the 29th and 30th of December, you can come along without a partner.

Wednesday Night Volunteers for 2021: Can you spare a Wednesday night to come along as a spare person or to help in the beginners class. If we get enough names you would probably only be on about once every 6 weeks. Let the office know if you can help or there is a sign up list in the foyer at the club.
