Weekly Update 2-March-2021
Booking for Sessions:
The office is taking bookings for sessions up to this Friday only. Hopefully we will be back at level-one on Sunday. If not we will open the session bookings again for next week.
When booking a session please:
- Check with partner who is going to email in as we get a lot of double-ups.
- Type names as: Smith/Jones
- Which session: Monday Aft (make sure you stipulate afternoon or evening session for Mondays and Thursdays)
- Make sure your bookings are ahead of time. I.e. by midday for an evening session, by 3.30pm the previous day for the daytime session otherwise your emails may not be answered in time.
- Cancellation: please email the office if you can’t play for a particular session as we do have waiting lists especially for Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Club Competitions:
In the event that those wanting a booking exceeds 96, then we cannot run an event, as it becomes unfair to exclude people. For example: This means that Sunday runs as normal as they never get to 96.
Wednesday Tutorial:
is still on, 5.50pm-6.50pm tomorrow night. Jenny Wilkinson Tutor: Openers Rebid after a 1-level Suit Opening.
Refresher & Beginner Lessons
are postponed until next week.
Thursday Afternoon Session:
1pm start, no partner required. We had 6 tables last week, lets keep it growing!
Annual General Meeting:
Thursday 25th March, 2021 at 6.30pm in the Clubrooms.
Take care and stay safe.
