Weekly Update 20/23-June-2023
Congratulations to Leon Meier, representing NZ at the upcoming 18th World Youth Bridge Team Championships (Under 21 section) and the 15th European & Transnational Youth Pairs Championship.
We will be having a fundraising bridge session
for Leon on Saturday 15th July at 1pm
to raise funds to help with his expenses. Use the button below to access the flyer. Includes afternoon tea, raffle and a hand commentary on some of the dealt hands Leon has provided.
Results South Island Online Teams
This was a very strong field of 48 teams.
- 3rd: Jan Alabaster with Livingston, Mayer and Ware
- 4th: Tim Schumacher, David Skipper with Wilson and Hurley
- 9th: Max Robb, Tony Quinlivan with Henry and Sutton
A team of Australian internationals beat the Alabaster team in the final round to win the event.
