Weekly Update 6-May-2021

Canterbury Congress
Date: 15/16 May 2021
There are events for all levels of players.
Intermediate/Junior Teams: We would like more entries!
A Junior pair from Oamaru are wanting to play in the Int/Jun teams on Saturday 15th May. We do have a Junior member wanting to play as well. Let Sue in the office know if you can help.

Daytime Bridge
Club sessions: Monday/Thursday/Sunday Afternoons at 1pm and Fridays at 10.20am (bring your lunch).

Emergency Contact Details
Since the earthquakes, the club has seen many more members requiring medical attention and on several occasions being taken to hospital. The Scorer programme used at the club has an emergency contact details function. The information would stay confidential and not be given out to a third party. The office staff & directors would be the only people to be able to access the information in an emergency.

Having all the essential information accessible could help medical responders provide the best help and care, and to contact your next of kin promptly. Information about medications and allergies facilitates making fast decisions about treatments.

If you would like your emergency contact details and any other relevant information recorded, forms will be available from the directors desk. Please return to the office or hand to Thea at the bar. This is totally voluntary.

Club Working Bee
This will be held on Sunday May 30th, starting at 9.30am. Gardening/staining outdoor furniture etc. Please let the office know if you can help or could provide some baking for morning tea.

Heads Up for Kids
The Lions are running a fundraiser to help Kiwi kids. They are after Old NZ coins and foreign currency. This can be left at the bar in the box provided or can be left an any Resene Shop.

Take care and stay safe.
