Weekly Update 25/26-October-2022

Congratulations to the following members representing the club at the upcoming Canterbury Interclub Teams:

Open: Neil Hawkins & Richard Lapthorne, John & Jane Skipper

Intermediate: Jo Hampton & Caroline Caseley, Judy Parkinson & Catherine Fitchett

Junior: Shawn Adriel-Ai & Perry Peng, John O’Leary & Marie McHugh

The club will be sending a second team to represent the club. We are looking for 2 more Junior (national ranking). To find your national ranking go to the link provided - https://www.nzbridge.co.nz/online-points.html

Please let the office know asap if you would like to play. The club covers the cost of the entry fee.

Convenor Elections will be held in the week of Monday 7th November. Nominations can be made on the foyer noticeboard. Please see the foyer noticeboard for more information.

Congratulations to Leon Meier (Club member) who was part of the NZ Men’s Bridge Team competing at the Asia Cup in Indonesia. They came 2nd in the competition. Well done Leon!! See photo below.
