Weekly Update 9/11-May-2023

Canterbury Congress: This weekend. The club is looking for players/pairs to be on stand-by for this weekends competition. Please let the office know.

Julian Cup: Proudly sponsored by Westende Jewellers

Saturday 10th June. This is a club member only tournament.

A Senior/Senior Reserve player partners with an Intermediate/ Junior Player. The Senior/Senior Reserve player must play their Junior or Intermediates players system.

Rulings from the Director

When a director makes a ruling, it can be one of two types of ruling. Some are straight out of the book and have a fixed and unchangeable penalty, like when there is a revoke. You must accept the ruling in these cases unless the ruling is seen as manifestly unfair. The other type of ruling, where the director is using his/her judgement is able to be appealed against. You should be advised that you have a right to appeal and have the decision looked at later in the session by other players.
